"King of the Mountain is a rock 'n roll action flick to be shot in a fast-paced hyper-real style that will create a unique visual landscape with huge appeal for it's target youth audience.

The drama unfolds as our hero, local boy racer Pace McDermott has to overcome the law, hard core street hoods, and a love triangle and still gain a place on the town's own race team so he can compete in the gruelling 24 hour 'Panorama Enduro'.

We follow Pace on a ride that includes a good dose of drag racing, go-carts, street racing, and power-packed V8 muscle cars. Mentored by the great Peter Brock, his hero, he finds the courage to race on the world's toughest racing circuit. But how does he go?

Through the twists, turns and tragedy, the audience is sure to be on the edge of their seats rooting for Pace as he overcomes a multitude of obstacles on his way to true cinematic hero status."
